5-Week Storyweaving Journey

Future Ancestors

You came here because something in you knows the story isn't over.

Not the one being told on the news. Not the one that ends in collapse and helplessness.

There's another story – one that wants to come through you. And it's been waiting.

Your Calling

All are welcome. If you are alive in a body and if you value collective liberation and the wisdom of Earth, you are a dreamer of beloved futures and the world needs your genius online and in its fullness. The future ancestors led you to this page. They are calling you forth.

Does This Feel Familiar?

꩜ You care deeply about the future of life on Earth, but constant disaster feeds leave you feeling frozen rather than inspired.

꩜ You're a creative, a healer, a builder, but you can't find the language for the world you're trying to help create.

꩜ You feel the pull of something wanting to emerge in you – a story, a vision, a creative project, but haven't given it space or a community to land in.

꩜ You're tired of being a passive witness to the unraveling and ready to be a maker of what comes next.

꩜ You believe that imagination isn't an escape from reality. It's how we change it.

If you nodded at any of these, Future Ancestors was made for you.

What This Is:

Future Ancestors is a 5-week online workshop and futures salon – a creative, embodied container for remembering your power as a maker of worlds.

We draw from the field of Futures Studies, from myth and ancestral story, from embodied practice and collective imagination. Each week, we gather to dream, move, create, and weave – making space for the visions that want to come through us.

This is not a course about doing more in the face of a broken world. This is a space to remember who you are.

What Shifts When You're Here

Sensing a vision but unsure how to shape it.

Feeling like the future is happening to you.

Disconnected from your imagination.

❯❯❯❯❯

After

Grounded in images of what's possible.

Held by a community of aligned dreamers.

A story, image, or creative work that's yours.

Showing up as a co-creator of what comes next.

Reconnected to your power as a maker of worlds.

The Journey

WEEK 1: To Be a Futurist
Every one of us is already sensing into emerging futures. We just may not have named it that. We'll explore frameworks from Futures Studies that awaken this native capacity and place it in service to the futures you actually want to help create.

WEEK 2: Myth-Making and Cultural Revolution
Every culture runs on myths so deep we forget they're stories at all. This week, we examine the ones shaping our lives, grieve the ones we're ready to release, and ask: What new myths does this moment need?

WEEK 3: Imagining the Beloved Futures
What are the worlds where things went right? This is a week for deep listening – to yourself, to your dreams, to what Earth is asking of us. The visions that live in you get space to surface.

WEEK 4: Weaving Our Stories of Earth's Liberation
We deepen into our own thread. Your story may want to become a poem, an essay, a piece of art, a song, a spoken word piece – the form will reveal itself. We give it room to emerge.

WEEK 5: Celebration and the Collective Dream
We come together to share what has emerged and discover how our individual stories weave into something larger.
Why this group, right now? What is Earth asking of us collectively?

Your Guide

Aubrey Morgan Yee is a PhD futurist, facilitator, and guide devoted to life-centric, decolonial futures of collective liberation.

She is not a writing teacher, yet people have left her spaces with the most honest creative work of their lives.

She is not a grief counselor, yet participants have found themselves able to mourn the world's losses and return to their creative power for the first time in years.

She is not a community builder, yet the relationships formed in her circles have become lifelong creative and spiritual homes.

She brings two decades of experience weaving futures thinking, myth, embodied wisdom, and deep imagination, and she is one of the rare guides who can hold the systemic and the sacred in the same breath.

Common Questions

1

Do I need a background in Futures Studies or creative writing?

Not at all. If you're alive, paying attention, and care about what comes next, you're already a futurist. No prior experience needed.

2

What if I'm not a "creative"?

This workshop is for anyone who has ever told a story, held a vision, or imagined something better. That's all of us. The form your creative work takes will find you – we create the conditions, you bring yourself.

3

What's the time commitment?

One live session per week plus however much time you want to give to your emerging creative work between sessions. Recordings are available if you miss a call.

4

Is the group size really limited?

Yes. This is intentional. The depth of connection and safety to create depends on keeping the circle small.

This Gathering Is Unique
in All the World.

Something brought you here. This specific configuration of dreamers will never exist again.

The futures don't exist yet, but the images we hold of them do, and those images shape everything. Your particular way of seeing, your stories, your grief, your hope: these are not small things. They are exactly what the world needs right now.

Come dream with us.
